New EEE Analyzer v 1.0.7 [download]

Fixed bug in decoding procedure of GPS information to give nanoseconds. Unfortunately, this means that all data has to be reanalyzed… Sorry!

1. EEE Data Acquisition:
- GPS readout at the beginning of run removed - no GPS structure right after Window-And-Delay data (might be back in the next versions);
- Improved automatic error handling - program will do 3 attempts to recover from CAEN VME-USB Bridge communication errors;

3. Recompiled versions with User Data type (codes 10..) added (all compatible with old data):
- EEE HW Address Checker;
- EEE Histogram Builder;
- EEE Pulse Width Converter;
- EEE TXT Converter;
- EEE Byte Order Converter

Programs will just skip such data structures if present in BIN-file, othervice functionality remains the same as before. Users are responsible for proper decoding of such data.

EEE Project was developed with NI LabVIEW 8.2.1, and LV Run-Time Engine v8.2.1 must be installed before any other EEE application.
Please install CAEN VME Demo as it will install CAENVMElib.dll required for EEE Data Acquisition and EEE HW Address Checker programs.
IMPORTANT: This version requires CAEN TDC V1190 firmware Rev0.7 or later. Please update firmware on each TDC in the system!
EEE Pulse Width Converter uses new functionality provided by this update, and therefore cannot be used to process old data files.

New in version 1.7.1

1. EEE Data Acquisition:
- Geometry page added, please check and modify parameters for your station;
- Geometry, Match Window and Delay information stored in binary file, please refer to EEE BIN Format v1.7.1.xls;
- automatic Convert to TXT at the end of acquisition removed, please use EEE TXT Converter instead;
- Fast Restart added to skip TDC re-configuration in Auto Restart mode;
- Angle control fixed;
- Delay writing bug fixed;

2. EEE Histogram Builder:
- Parameters page added;
- Comment and Mode And Resolution indicators moved to Parameters page;
- Geometry, Match Window and Delay information is shown on Parameters page if present in binary file;

3. EEE TXT Converter:
- output TXT file shows Geometry, Match Window and Delay information if present in binary file;

4. EEE Pulse Width Converter:
- Time conversion mode takes into account delay between 1PPS trigger and CLR signal to calculate calibration coefficients, and TDC internal delay.
